A day in pe class
On a regular day of pe class its usually people goofing around (sometimes me too) and on fitness days we work hard. At the beginning of class everyones just chilling and some people just chill in the changerooms and most of the time im late to class but i do try to come early. Neuf sees all the goofing around and the foul language but hes an understanding teacher but when he feels were going too far he does tell us. When the principal comes (i usually see him on fitness days) i think he sees us working hard for the most part but i think hes always just looking for the kids doing wrong so i dont know what he says

what do you want?
Yesterday in the weight room i worked on abs and core strength. My exercises situps, crunch, plank, leg raises, flutter kicks, 6 inches, sliders, pull ins, side to side obliques. on my plank i set my new personal best which was 2 minutes and before it was lower because i never worked on my core strength. On most of them i did 3 sets but on the plank i only did 2. When im choosing my workouts i am thinking about what my weaknesses are and what i need to work on. when i do research i just search up workouts on google and see what peoples reviews are on them.There are also posts by other people sharing their workouts and giving new ideas. When i chose my order i chose sit ups and crunchs so i can warm up my abs then i do a plank and maxed out. My workout was tough for me because i barely work on my core and i was going all out on the plank which got me tired. It was not fun because i hate doing abs and core but i sucked it up because you have to do it one day or another. What did go well was the pull ins because i couldnt do all the reps and it was hard. I think it was worth going to the weightroom because i atleast got a ab and core workout

REPORT CARD
In this semester I have been successful at coming to class in gym strip with shorts and runners. Another thing ive been successful at is trying new sports and getting out of my comfort zone. So far I had 2 absences but I always try to make the effort to show up to class but my main problem can be showing up on time. My average exertion level is high most of the time when i start to play sports because in team sports i get competitive and try to do whatever to win. Towards the class I havent really contributed to the overall positive atmosphere because I was new this year and i didnt really know anyone so i was more focused on gettting to know everyone and all. Ways i showed positive leadership was going with Mandeep to the weightroom and showing him workouts and different exercizes. Goals i have set are I want to be as fit as i used be and have higher scores on beep tests and be able to complete the runs. So far in pe I have been trying to push myself on fitness days so I can complete my goals and outside of pe i have been doing cardio in the gym. One thing i learned in pe was how out of shape I am and how i need to start pushing myself more to get back in shape. I think an accurate grade for pe this year would be a 85% because i have been showing up everyday to pe in gym strip ready to work hard but i have been late and 2 absences would make me lose marks. I think to get a higher mark i would need to show up to class on time in strip and ready to play hard.

FIRST SIX WEEK OF PE
In my first six weeks of PE I have been having a lot of fun and am getting use to my new school. My strengths were I try to follow instructions, participate and have fun. My weaknesses are at times i am late to class because I get hungry during the last block and just want to eat. During activities i try to respect others and motivate my team but at times i can get competitive and disrespect the other team. The two field trips were really fun and id like to go there again but i didnt get to finish the grouse grind so im going to go there and try it again.
My goals for the semester are to be in much better shape than i am at the moment and have much better cardio because at the moment my cardio is really bad

this week...................................
This week we mostly had choice. On monday i played dodgeball which was fun at the start but then it got boring so i went to basketball. On tuesday we had choice again but my foot was injured so i just messed around in the weightroom. wednesday i went to get xrays so i didnt come to school. Today our class played baseball which was fun and a competitive game. it was small ppl vs tall and short ppl won!

Grouse Grind
On Tuesday September 18th all of the senior pe classes went on a field trip to the grouse grind. We had to climb the grouse mountain which was 2.5 miles uphill. i did not complete the grouse grind and i was very disappointed and i want to attempt it again because i went back down with Money because he had knee problems and couldnt continue so i went down with him. In return Money has to take me to the grouse grind so i can complete it,
Pond run
A couple of weeks ago i ran the pond run which was running for 30 mins without stopping. since i was in bad shape already i took about 4 breaks during the run and my goal for the end of the semester is to be in much better shape and run the community run without stopping.
Beep Test
The first beep test was really difficult for me because I didnt do any cardio over the summer break. My beep test score was 9 which was my worst score in highschool. During pe this year i want to work on my cardio and get in much shape than im in right now
